How it is done

  1. Start with the decision

    I begin with the questions someone needs to answer and the decisions that follow. A dashboard without a decision behind it is usually just another screen nobody checks.

  2. Agree what each number means

    Every important metric gets one documented definition. Differences between spreadsheets, reports, and teams are resolved before they become part of the new system.

  3. Build a reliable data flow

    The required data is pulled from its real sources, cleaned, validated, and shaped into a model that produces the same answer consistently.

  4. Automate the recurring work

    Reports, executive dashboards, scheduled summaries, and alerts update from live data instead of depending on another copy-and-paste process.

  5. Surface what needs attention

    Analysis focuses on changes, exceptions, trends, forecasts, and comparisons that help someone act—not on filling a screen with every chart the data can produce.
